Essential Oils for Maternity and Pregnancy–A Beautiful Adventure

POST 3: ESSENTIAL OIL USE FOR PREGNANCY (DO’S AND DON’TS)

While there are suggested oils to avoid during pregnancy, mostly due to the quality of the oils some buy, there is no research findings that essential oils that are inhaled, used topically or taken orally, harm the baby during pregnancy per Jane Buckle, Ph.D., R.N., in her book “Clinical Aromatherapy: Essential Oils in Practice.” The key is using seed to seal pure quality oils, like Young Living, and following the instruction guidelines for use. If you are enrolled in the school of thought that if a little is good then a lot is better then please hear me, that is NOT true with oils. Thankfully. We want to protect your pocketbook and why use 5 drops of oils when 1 does the job very effectively?
