Essential Oils for Maternity and Pregnancy–A Beautiful Adventure

POST 11, PART 4: If your precious bundle is experiencing cradle cap then you can use Lavender or Melrose mixed with carrier oil and put on the affected area. Rose Ointment is also recommended. Beyond oils, you may want to look at your diet as there is a link between low intake of biotin (a water soluble B-complex vitamin) and your baby developing cradle cap. Foods that are high in biotin include plant and animal based sources: nuts, legumes, bananas, avocados, cereal grains, cauliflower, sunflower seeds, dairy products and seafood. Egg yolks are high in biotin but also have a chemical that interferes with absorption so if you were using that option, the yolks on you! (If you eat a diet high in egg whites it can also interfere with your body’s ability to absorb biotin and you can become deficient). Nobody wants you to be deficient. So forks up and get those bio available plant foods shoveled in!  https://artfullyrestored.com/essential-oils/
